Case overview

Internal 3M documents from 1978 meeting minutes acknowledge PFOA and PFOS "should be regarded as toxic," and a 1978 rhesus monkey study was aborted after 20 days due to mortality in exposed animals. The EPA has stated there is evidence that PFAS exposure leads to adverse health outcomes in humans.
